Past Events

On 30th October 2018, we attended the NEQAS Annual Participants Meeting at the America Square Conference Centre located in the heart of the City of London’s Square Mile.
The venue offers a unique, contemporary event space with excellent transport links. The historic Roman London Wall runs through the venue providing a memorable back drop to the trade area.
The Annual Participants Meeting is a great opportunity to meet our customers and potential new customers face to face. Events like these enable us to showcase our range of products and equipment.

The European Histopathology Forum (EHF) started as the Industrial Histopathology Discussion Group (IHDG) in 1981. It was formed originally by a small group of like-minded scientific professionals working in innovative industrial research within the field of Histopathology.

On 31st October 2017, we attended the NEQAS Annual Participants Meeting at The Roxburghe Hotel, Edinburgh. It was great to be able to sponsor such an event with the focuses of Neuropathology & Muscle Histochemistry: Boosting Performance, TEM and Cellular Pathology Proficiency Testing: Process Related Opportunities.
The IBMS Biomedical Science Congress is a bi-annual event this year. With over 20,000 members in over 30 countries, the Institute of Biomedical Science is the leading professional body for biomedical scientists, support staff and students. Aside from the exhibition the Congress features a support staff programme of lectures specifically designed for Biomedical laboratory assistants and associates.
The Congress is a major exhibition that brings together the best in science and technology to exchange best practice, innovations and network.

The Fourth Technical Skills Day was held in the seminar room and lounge of the AV Hill Building on Thursday 30th March; this was an all-day event that included informative seminars and a busy trade fair. The theme for this spring’s event was Immunohistochemistry.
We had guest speakers presenting seminars covering: multi labelling, the importance of validation and the more advanced 7-plex Tyramide labelling, to compliment the sessions hosted by our own in-house Histology Facility. There was a trade fair in the lounge all day, which provided the opportunity to network, discover new techniques and kits for your applications but also a chance to win a prize in our, ever popular, “passport scheme”, from the many suppliers.
